Frank Abate is a Chartered Professional Accountant who works with financial advisors on estate planning, and with clients referred by accounting and tax professionals who want life insurance to be part of an estate plan.
Frank Abate holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations. He began his career as a tax practitioner with a national accounting firm, then moved to a mid-sized firm.
He joined Canada Life in 2005 as an Estate and Tax Planning consultant at the national level. In 2012 he moved into management as Ontario Regional Sales Director.
Today Frank works closely with financial advisors to provide estate planning solutions to their clients. He runs his own firm, Abate Financial Solutions Inc., and is National Director, Tax and Estate Planning at IDC Worldsource Insurance Network Inc. Because he is licensed to sell life insurance, he also works directly with clients of his own. Those clients are typically referred by accounting and tax professionals who want to include life insurance in a client's estate plan.
Frank brings his tax knowledge to the life insurance solutions he recommends. He explains complex subject matter in terms clients can follow, and he works with accountants and lawyers on insurance topics they may not deal with every day.
Frank works with financial advisors, and with clients referred by accounting and tax professionals, in these areas.
