Tanya helps business owners, incorporated professionals, families, and high-net-worth clients explore life insurance, corporate planning, estate strategies, and legacy planning with an education-first approach.
Tanya Michel is an independent insurance broker based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She works with business owners, incorporated professionals, families, and high-net-worth clients who want to use insurance thoughtfully as part of their wider financial, corporate, and estate planning.
With nine years in the insurance industry, including six years in independent practice, Tanya's work focuses on permanent life insurance, corporate planning, estate strategies, succession and legacy planning, Capital Dividend Account planning, and critical illness insurance.
"My role is to make sure you understand every option before you choose one — and that your plan works with your accountant, lawyer, and the rest of your team."
Tanya takes an education-first approach to each conversation. She helps clients understand how insurance may fit with their goals, personal circumstances, corporate structure, and estate plan before they make a decision. Where appropriate, she works alongside clients' accountants, lawyers, and other advisors to support a coordinated planning process.
She serves clients in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Tanya is pursuing the Certified Executive Advisor designation to deepen her knowledge of succession and legacy planning.
